Trenton, NJ (October 3, 2014)—Dominic Villecco, V‑COMM’s president and founder, testified at the New Jersey Assembly hearing on Sept. 18 to highlight issues regarding 911 fees and Next Generation 911. Testimonies were also given by representatives from various associations, including the New Jersey Wireless Association (NJWA), the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) and the New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC), as well as Camden, Morris and Union Counties.
“The issue of improperly allocated 911 fees and Next Generation 911 services is one of my primary concerns,” said Villecco. “It has been my personal initiative, for the past eight years, to finally get some traction in the Assembly on this issue.”
Villecco is a member of the Board of Trustees for NJWA and a chair for its Public Safety committee.
“Dominic is an outstanding member of our Board of Trustees,” said NJWA President Michael Lee Foster. “His passion for this particular issue has helped NJWA to be front and center in educating the public on this concern to New Jersey residents.”
